March 13, 2019 -- Indian Wells, CA

Roger remains steady with his play in the desert as seeds continue to drop from the BNP Paribas Open.

Taking the court just a day after top ranked Novak Djokovic lost, Roger took care of business against Kyle Edmund in his Round of 16 match.

Roger needed just an hour to capture his 65th win at Indian Wells, 6-1, 6-4. Having won this tournament 5 times before, it was clear today the Swiss Star is feeling comfortable on these courts as he only allowed Edmund to see 3 break points.

He faces young Polish player, Hubert Hurkacz, next who took out Denis Shapovalov.
