On a rainy day in New York, Roger found himself to be one of the lucky players to get his match scheduled in a timely manner on Wednesday. He took the court this afternoon under the roof against ATP's 99th ranked player, Damir Dzumher.

Starting slow for the second time this week, Roger found himself down a set and not executing his shots as well as he can to start the match.

But after using the first set to warm up, he began dialing it in and there was no doubt who was in control of the match.

“It just takes me some time, I guess, so far. I was very pleased, at the end, to find a way,” Roger said after the match.

He will play Lucas Puille or Dan Evans in his next round, although due to incliment weather, the match still has not yet been completed as scheduled.
