With a subdued start to his second round, Roger needed just 90 minutes to put away his second round opponent, Dusan Lajovic. Once the first set reached 6-6, Roger lifted his level to win the breaker 7-0.
From there, the Swiss continued to lift his level and captured the crowd with his near flawless play. He captured the win 7-6 (0), 6-3, 6-2.
Next up for the Swiss Maestro will be Mischa Zverev, who got through his 2nd round match after a 5 set battle.
